Adding Members
Learn how to add new members to your club individually or in bulk.
Add Individual Member
- Navigate to Members in the sidebar
- Click Add Member button
- Fill in the required information:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Membership type
- Optional information:
- Date of birth
- Address
- Emergency contact
- Profile photo
- Click Save
Send Welcome Email
After adding a member, you can:
- Check "Send welcome email" to invite them to set up their account
- The email includes a link to complete their profile
- They can set their password and add additional details
Bulk Import
For adding many members at once:
Step 1: Download Template
- Go to Members > Import
- Click Download Template
- Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets
Step 2: Fill In Data
Required columns:
first_namelast_nameemailmembership_type(must match your configured types)
Optional columns:
phonedate_of_birthaddressgenderemergency_contact_nameemergency_contact_phone
Step 3: Upload & Review
- Save your file as CSV
- Go to Members > Import
- Upload your file
- Review the preview for errors
- Fix any issues highlighted
- Click Import
Common Import Issues
| Error | Solution |
|---|---|
| Duplicate email | Check if member already exists |
| Invalid membership type | Use exact type name from settings |
| Missing required field | Ensure all required columns have data |
| Invalid date format | Use YYYY-MM-DD format |
Member Self-Registration
You can also enable self-registration:
- Go to Settings > Registration
- Enable Allow Online Registration
- Configure which fields are required
- Share your registration link
- Review and approve new registrations
