Adding Members

Learn how to add new members to your club individually or in bulk.

Add Individual Member

  1. Navigate to Members in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Member button
  3. Fill in the required information:
    • First name and last name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Membership type
  4. Optional information:
    • Date of birth
    • Address
    • Emergency contact
    • Profile photo
  5. Click Save

Send Welcome Email

After adding a member, you can:

  • Check "Send welcome email" to invite them to set up their account
  • The email includes a link to complete their profile
  • They can set their password and add additional details

Bulk Import

For adding many members at once:

Step 1: Download Template

  1. Go to Members > Import
  2. Click Download Template
  3. Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets

Step 2: Fill In Data

Required columns:

  • first_name
  • last_name
  • email
  • membership_type (must match your configured types)

Optional columns:

  • phone
  • date_of_birth
  • address
  • gender
  • emergency_contact_name
  • emergency_contact_phone

Step 3: Upload & Review

  1. Save your file as CSV
  2. Go to Members > Import
  3. Upload your file
  4. Review the preview for errors
  5. Fix any issues highlighted
  6. Click Import

Common Import Issues

Member Self-Registration

You can also enable self-registration:

  1. Go to Settings > Registration
  2. Enable Allow Online Registration
  3. Configure which fields are required
  4. Share your registration link
  5. Review and approve new registrations
